軟体動物における貝殻微細構造の進化:真珠構造喪失イベントに着目して

Research Results Outline:(1) 二枚貝原鰓類を最も原始的な二枚貝類である原鰓類における貝殻微細構造形質と分子系統解析に基づいた分類体系を対比することで,当該分類群における貝殻(1) 二枚貝原鰓類を最も原始的な二枚貝類である原鰓類における貝殻微細構造形質と分子系統解析に基づいた分類体系を対比することで,当該分類群における貝殻微細構造の進化史を詳細に明らかとした. (2) 深海の熱水・冷湧水域に生息する腹足類における貝殻微...(1) 二枚貝原鰓類を最も原始的な二枚貝類である原鰓類における貝殻微細構造形質と分子系統解析に基づいた分類体系を対比することで,当該分類群における貝殻微細構造の進化史を詳細に明らかとした. (2) 深海の熱水・冷湧水域に生息する腹足類における貝殻微細構造が海底面下から湧出する流体の組成に応じて可塑的に変化することを明らかとした.(3) アコヤガイの生理条件悪化時にみられる微細構造形質の可塑が貝殻タンパク質の発現パターンによって制御されていることを明らかとした.この他,房総半島における更新統の地質調査を推進し,微細構造進化の議論のための化石二枚貝標本の拡充した.
