Profile

I have come to Waseda in April 2018. I investigate sport and sporting culture on the basis of methodologies of history of sport and sport anthropology. My current research topics include re-writing of American sport history and the ludic diffusion of American sport to Japan during the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras.
