アリストテレス的リベラリズムの分析を中心とした「障害の政治思想」研究

Research Results Outline:「障害の政治思想」研究の一環として、本課題では、マーサ・ヌスバウムのアリストテレス的リベラリズムに基づく知的障害論を、同じくアリストテレスの強い影響を「障害の政治思想」研究の一環として、本課題では、マーサ・ヌスバウムのアリストテレス的リベラリズムに基づく知的障害論を、同じくアリストテレスの強い影響を受けたトマス・ヒル・グリーンのそれと比較検討した。検討の結果、ヌスバウムのケイパビリティ理論は、他...「障害の政治思想」研究の一環として、本課題では、マーサ・ヌスバウムのアリストテレス的リベラリズムに基づく知的障害論を、同じくアリストテレスの強い影響を受けたトマス・ヒル・グリーンのそれと比較検討した。検討の結果、ヌスバウムのケイパビリティ理論は、他の多くのリベラリズムが依拠する合理的選択理論よりも、軽度知的障害者の社会的包摂にはより有効な規範理論となりうる一方で、重度知的障害者には抑圧的にはたらく可能性があること、この点でグリーンの共通善思想のほうが、よりインクルーシブな社会を志向しうる要素をもつことが分かった。研究成果は、マンチェスター政治理論学会等、国内外の複数の学会等で発表された。
