Fault-resilient Photonic On-chip Network for Reliable High-performance Many-core Systems-on-Chip

I believe that this technologyhas the power to improve our computing capabilities by at least 5x compared to electrical counterparts. Theresearch resulted in 1 completely published work, one work that has beensubmitted, and one work that has a submission deadline next month.  Thefinished work is about porting the on-chip photonic technology and adapting itto be used in off-chip networks.  This work was then extended by the ICCpaper, which is already submitted, by exploring the benefits of differenttopologies which use the architecture.  The final paper is for a 3Drouting algorithm for fault-tolerant and thermal-aware Photonic NoCs.

I believe that this technology has the power to improve our computing capabilities by at least 5x compared to electrical counterparts. The research resulted in 1 completely published work, one work that has been submitted.   The finished work is about a Photonic Network on Chip (PNoC) routing algorithm that adapted to faults and traffic congestion.   The second paper was submitted to IEEE ACCESS, and covers a fog computing network.
